Showcasing Georgina's Artworks

"I was born in the UK and after high school I went to art college. I studied printed textile design, history of costume and art history.. I moved to Canada with my husband in 1973, and while raising a family I explored various art media - embroidery, quilting etc.

I am now a painter and work mainly in acrylics.

My works have included varied representational subjects but over the last few years I have ventured into more experimental works, exploring colour and abstract themes.

Teaching others to paint, especially beginners, is inspiring and rewarding as I watch them discover their own creativity. I am also reminded that I still have much to learn myself.
